Madison Bolokowicz has always been very creative. From an early age, her passion for art was apparent. By second grade, she started taking formal art classes. Madison enjoys drawing and painting a wide range of genres including still life, interiors, floral, abstract, and wildlife.
You can find Madison's art featured in the children's book series, Guess What? by Nancy O'Neill. Her artwork was selected through a worldwide kids art contest and is currently included in four of those books. From that opportunity, Madison was commissioned to draw the cover illustration for two bilingual children's books by Georgina Olivas. Madison's art has also been displayed at her local library.
Madison's creative talent has also given her an opportunity in music. She has been playing violin in her school orchestra since fourth grade.
Although art is her passion, Madison is active in her community as well. She is a member of Lion's Heart, a teen volunteer group who helps those in need in a variety of ways. She has earned the Presidential Silver Award for giving more than seventy five service hours in one year.
As an artist, a musician, and volunteer, Madison also maintains a high GPA which places her on the Honor Roll. But Madison is more than just about art and academics. She enjoys shopping, going to concerts and hanging out with her friends.
Madison attended JSerra Catholic High School in Orange County, CA known for its "Arts Magnet" program.
Attaining some art scholarships, Madison will continue her studies at the University of Iowa. She plans to double major in Studio Art and Psychology to fulfill her dream of becoming an art therapist.
